St Augustine’s Church, Cashmere – Fundraising for the church roof restoration project – 29th October 2023

Having enjoyed playing in June alongside the church organ at St Augustine’s in the suburb of Cashmere we were pleased to return in October to perform a fundraising concert in aid of the church roof restoration project.

The acoustics of the building make this a lovely venue to perform in, although you will see from the photograph above taken at one of the rehearsals we held at the church that it does come with a few challenges. The tiered platform from which the band performed did require that our diminutive Musical Director, Victoria, needs the assistance of a coffee table to enable her to be seen by all of the players!

Once again we had the pleasure of playing a number of items to the accompaniment of Loki Kristianson on the church organ, and we very much look forward to playing at St Augustine’s in the future.
